Thank you frustration, for showing me the way 💛

Because how do you know what you want if you don’t know what you don’t want?

In my life, so many potent lessons of growth have come through contrast. I learn about what I desire and value most by experiencing the absence of it- that’s when I truly realize how important it is to me. I can be grateful for all my experiences (even unpleasant ones) because I know it’s happening for me on some level.

In Human Design, we look at certain feelings as a compass, guiding us deeper into alignment or fulfillment. These feelings / themes are unique to each energy type, and for myself as a Generator, satisfaction is my sign of alignment. And because we live in a world of duality, frustration, the contrast, is just as important. This is my sign that something is out of alignment and needs to shift. It’s not “bad”, it just is. When I acknowledge my feelings of frustration and lean in with curiosity (not judgment) I can use the opportunity to learn something deeper about myself.

How this is showing up for me lately… doing the dishes at 8:45pm has been activating frustration within me! 😤 It’s been a theme, and I can’t ignore it. Because at this time, I’d rather be relaxing and unwinding with self-care rituals and dim lights. Because my sleep quality has a massive impact on how I feel, and eating dinner too late messes it up for me. If I work late, I start cooking dinner late, eat late, and wash dishes late, and feel frustrated af 🫠 So I listen to this feeling, and pivot. Next step: boundaries for an earlier work cut-off time. Start cooking dinner earlier than I think I need to (because it always takes longer). Result: feel SATISFIED AF while I breathe and stretch, read a book, relaxing my nervous system and preparing for a restful sleep, waking up feeling recharged 😌✨

So thank you frustration, for showing me the way 🙏🏼

Your most important relationship is the one with yourself, because your beliefs about yourself influence your reality ✨☁️

Your identity is how you see yourself or what you believe to be true about yourself (including which parts of your past you allow to define you)

All of this informs your thoughts, feelings and actions.

And unless you’ve done some conscious work around restructuring your beliefs about yourself, then it’s all happening on autopilot.

So if there’s parts of your reality that you’re not loving (your work, your health, your relationships, etc.) it’s time to peel back the layers of your beliefs about yourself.

When I started understanding the layers of my Astrology & Human Design charts, alot of my shadow traits were revealed, which allowed me to consciously work on changing the patterns that weren’t supporting the life I desired. My highest potential was also revealed, put into such clear words, allowing me to see parts of my highest self that I could then consciously choose to embody.

MY ADVICE: your life is far too important to let your unconscious, disempowering beliefs run the show. So become conscious of who you want to be, and the life you desire to create. Make your relationship to yourself your top priority (until loving yourself becomes autopilot) 💛✨

Enjoying luxuries like this is still a practice for me. I’m grateful beyond words for the beautiful life I’ve created for myself, and the beautiful opportunities I attract. AND, understanding my worthiness has been a massive theme in my life.

“Who am I to enjoy luxuries while other people are struggling? I’m not any better than them. They should get to experience this too. Why me, and why not them?”

These are some thoughts that come up when I’m placed in these experiences that feel so luxurious and abundant. I come from a small (middle class) town, and luxury is still something I’m getting used to.

When I tune into the wisdom of my highest self, I know that the lives each of us desire are available to us, and most of the work is believing we’re worthy of it. And we’re all worthy ✨

I can’t even count the amount of stories I’ve heard where people “achieve success” only to find themselves super unfulfilled. It’s because they went after the IDEA of success that’s been conditioned into (many of) us. When we take the time to truly get to know ourselves, beyond the layers of conditioned beliefs, we uncover what truly matters to us. Defining our own version of SUCCESS. Identifying our core VALUES. And then creating a life in ALIGNMENT with this 🙌🏼 That’s fulfillment. That’s freedom ✨💛

Because I didn’t always give myself the love I needed (which leads to feeling unfulfilled and seeking for wholeness outside of the self)

What if it works out BEST case scenario? ☁️✨💕

Our brains are wired for survival, so it’s common for the default mode to be FEAR, which can show up as being focused on the worst case scenario.

But it’s a protection mechanism, and can be a major block for manifesting your dream life!

In order to live your best life, you gotta do more than just survive… you gotta be available to THRIVE!

What it takes:

➡️ Becoming conscious of the fear voice, understanding the root of it, processing that energy through your body, bringing safety into your nervous system, and opening your heart to the possibilities of miracles working in your favor, in ways you could never plan for.

This is the beautiful magic of life- it gets to be SO good. Let it 💫

We’ve been conditioned to believe we’re not enough. Not good enough, smart enough, pretty enough, fit enough, etc.

We’re told to workout because we’re too fat, or because we’re too skinny.

But what if we believed this instead…

✨The ABILITY to MOVE my body is a GIFT.

✨I workout because it feels good, MENTALLY & PHYSICALLY.

✨Movement helps me process ENERGY & EMOTIONS.

✨I feel more ALIGNED & CLEAR when I breathe deeply, sweat, stretch & move.

✨I feel more CONFIDENT & CAPABLE when I challenge myself.

✨I workout because I LOVE MY BODY, not because I hate it.

✨I AM enough.
